Consulting Services
Consultation
Konstantin Tsvaygboym, Ph.D. (DrK) offers a free initial consultation, as well as phone and e-mail consultation services on an hourly basis. Consultation may include, but is not limited to, information on specific compounds, chemical reactivity and compatibility issues, contract manufacturers, chemical formulae, product development, project feasibility, and journal and patent literature. Would you like to stop paying private label fees? DrK has access to an extensive collection of published, commercial drugs, nutritional supplements, cosmetic and toiletry formulations. Let DrK provide you with a quality formula for your new product.
A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is available upon request.
Research & Development
If you have an idea for a new chemical product or have an existing product that needs refinement, put DrK’s experience and strong track record to work for you. Contact DrK for a free initial consultation. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is available upon request.
Analytical Services
DrK will determine which analytical method is most appropriate for your specific application, and will conduct the required analysis. Average turnaround time is approximately one week. For certain applications, specialized analyses may be required and this work may be oursourced to reputable laboratories. DrK will be responsible for all interactions with third-party laboratories, including sample shipping, correspondence, and payment. Analytical capabilities include, but are not limited to, the following: mass spectrometry (low and high resolution), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography (powder diffraction and single crystal), elemental analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) spectroscopy, UV-VIS absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, gas chromatography (GC), and high-performace liquid chromatography (HPLC), Drug Dissolution Testing, IR Testing, Residual Solvents Testing, Formulation Stability Testing, Drug Force Degradation Testing, Nutraceuticals Force Degradation Testing, and other analytical tests specific to Pharmaceutical Drug Development.
Patenting (provisional or full patent)
If you have a new chemical technology or product and wish to establish your legal right to this invention, DrK will conduct the necessary prior art research, write a full patent, and file your patent on a provisional basis with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
If you are not certain that your chemical technology or product is profitable, DrK can instead write a provisional patent. The USPTO filing fee for a provisional patent is small and, if the provisional patent is approved, your invention will be protected for one year while you assess the profitability of this intellectual property.
DrK will provide a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) by e-mail, FAX, or US mail upon request. Following execution of this agreement, DrK will request information pertaining to the invention and provide a quote based on the complexity of the invention, the number of claims required, and other factors. The guaranteed turnaround time is thirty days, although expedited services are available. DrK fees for the patent writing/filing service are assessed on a per patent basis and include all USPTO provisional patent filing and examination fees.
